Tap into the God in you

In order to receive the limitless opportunities the world has to offer, we have to tap into our godlike powers. The problem is, some of us don’t know how to utilize this divine strength.

Since birth, we were born with the intelligence to live abundantly. As a child, I had a vivid imagination. I believed I could achieve whatever my heart desired. At an early age, I figured out that all of the resources I needed to be successful were already here. I just had to be creative enough to manifest my dream world into my reality.

As we get older, we accept defeat. We fail over and over again until we feel stuck. We wallow in our own mire. We even give up on our dreams because they seem unattainable.

When you feel stuck or uninspired, don’t give up. Instead, tap into the God in you to manifest a life worth living.

As my older brother Omar would say, “Your mind has to be at the finish line before you physically are. That’s how you win.” I find these words to be true.

No matter what your current circumstances are, you can always be reborn. It’s that simple. You can create the life you want to live with your mind. When you think you deserve something and actively pursue it, the world opens up so you can receive it.

Make sure you have a plan for your success. Write it down and watch your dreams come alive. I did.

Although I’ve stumbled on some bumps in the road, I’m living my life my way. I got my first reporter job three months after graduating from Meredith College. I went back to school at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. I obtained my master’s degree. Upon graduation, I started my first salaried position at a news broadcasting station. I also started my blog, Fruit of May, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. The mind is the limit.

Life will throw you lemons and you have to know how to get in formation. Turn them bad boys into lemonade. Reflect on your mistakes and focus on elevating your thoughts. When you are connected to the source, you cannot lose.
